Who: GLAM group and anyone who is interested!
Where: Saxony in Fishers
What: Choose To Move, which is a race where all proceeds will go to the Indiana Parkinson's Foundation. There is a 10K run, 5K walk/run, and 1 mile walk/run.
When: September 20th at 9 AM
My aunt, and GLAM member Marla is a part of organizing this event. She said you can register all the way up to the event and can find more information at fun-races.com. If you just want to volunteer, come and we are sure there is plenty to do to help, even if it is just cheering on the participants. You can also donate money any time to the Indiana Parkinson's Foundation. You can have your donation registered under her husband's name, South side Climb - Kevin Pace.
This event should be fun! It will be a great way to raise awareness while getting some exercise and enjoying the fall weather. There will be food trucks and activities for children as well.
